Cabin inspections!

Inspections have just taken place and everyone was shocked when they were asked to show their wash bags. But not as shocked as Miss Stannard who found several bone dry flannels! The cleanest boy award goes to Ben Payne who has had 4 showers!

More challenges this afternoon.

Problem solving continued after lunch today as well as other activities including   Jacob's ladder and Giant swing. 

Team work and co-operation in action.

Jacob's Ladder involved climbing a 30-40 foot wooden ladder whilst being held up by a friend.  Everyone had a go and some were very successful managing to reach the very top!

This was enjoyed by Mr Bloom's group.  Everyone commented that this was their favourite activity of the day.

A glorious start to the day!

The children (those who slept!) woke up to a beautiful sunny morning.  Breakfast included sausages, toast, cereal and much more.  Mr Santy and Miss Beckett's group spent the morning the morning problem solving in the woods.  This involved a selection of problems for the children and us to solve!  Can you guess who took a leading role?

Miss Leftley's group have been shooting arrows from bows we heard that Coran Saunders showed great accuracy.

Just before lunch all groups went dragon boating! The water was quite choppy and the waves quite high but all children summoned the courage to 'take to the seas'. Both teams (the pikachu's and charmander's) raced each other, the pikachu's won! Much to the delight of Miss Beckett and Mr Bloom.

Arrival at last!

After a bit of a wait at the port we arrived about 2.30pm.  We are all really excited including the adults!! Lots of sweets have been eaten already and a trip to the shop!  Everyone has had a good meal this evening.  Just off for a big game of hide and seek to try and burn off all that energy!

Missed first ferry. Waiting for next. All running 30 minutes late. It's looking a tad rough! But We're all getting a little bit excited!
